Graduate Study
NICADD funds are available to support a limited number of graduate students
as research assistants. Since NICADD staff collaborate with physicists from
Fermilab and around the world this is an excellent opportunity to pursue
exciting new topics. Research positions are available in a wide variety of
subjects. The student may chose to research cooling of muon beams and the
generation and dynamics of electron beams. Alternatively, there are
opportunities in development and simulation of particle detectors. Students
also may participate in the DZERO proton-antiproton collider experiment.
